Approaching the gates of Castle Eltz you feel smaller and smaller with the massive medieval castle growing in front of yourself. I got lucky catching a short moment without any tourist in front of myself being able to capture this awesome photo before the next load of people stepped in front of me and my camera.

Hidden in the hills - Castle Eltz
Hidden in the hills above the Mosel river between Koblenz and Trier you find castle Eltz. Visiting at the beginning of December 2017 the first snow had fallen and despite temperatures below zero I had an awesome time exploring the area. The magificant castle made for this awesome photo, which makes you wanna go back to medieval times.

Marienburg after the Rain
In anticipation of a spectacular sunset I took off from Hannover going to the Marienburg close to Pattensen only to be caught up in a thunderstorm. But patience paid off and after having to wait for a while the rain stopped and the clouds broke giving the sun a last chance for the day to send their rays onto this beautiful castle.

On Top Of Kuala Lumpur
Taken from the top of the Traders Hotel in the city center of Kuala Lumpur, the majestic Petronas Towers stand out from the city's skyline. The photo was actually taken while enjoying a glass of Pinot Noir at the awesome Skybar which does not only offer awesome views but also features a 30m pool for those who like to take a swim under the watchful eyes of the other visitors.
